what's fun

At Green Valley, we know how to have fun!

Green Valley Pathfinders
Here are a few of Green Valley's projects that we thought you would enjoy visiting during a day or overnight getaway. Whether you are looking for a relaxing stroll along a lake, or a day trip to the ocean with some shopping involved, we think you—and your dog!—will find something you like!

Pomo Bluffs Park
This 25-acre park was recently designed and engineered by Green Valley. Pomo Bluffs is located off of Highway One in Fort Bragg and offers viewing overlooks of the Pacific Ocean, interpretive signage to learn the local history, and is nearby downtown Fort Bragg which offers great shopping and good food. The Park offers only day-time visiting but overnight accommodations are available at nearby parks and campgrounds. For more information on the park or the surrounding area visit: www.fortbragg.com

Riverfront Regional Park
Nestled amongst the vineyards in Sonoma County, Riverfront Park is located on Eastside Road in Windsor, California. The Park is over 300-acres and includes picnicking, volleyball, and excellent walking trails as well as access to three year-round recreational lakes with large mouth bass fishing. When you are done enjoying the Park, head off to local wineries or restaurants to experience what Sonoma County is so famous for-wine! For more information to plan your day trip getaway, visit the Sonoma County Regional Parks website at: www.co.sonoma.ca.us/parks

Discussion topics during the day will include:

  • How are we doing? Where are we going? What are we missing?
  • Do hard times equal opportunities?
