It is no secret that Green Valley’s “field guys” have logged countless hours of night work. Many of our construction projects are performed during off-hours to minimize impacts to traffic, utilities, and businesses. But now, for the first time in a long while, we have the pictures to prove that – yes, we really are out there building at 2 a.m. (Monday through Friday) while everyone is hopefully sleeping!! A big THANK YOU to Shannon Lawson who braved the elements and heavy construction equipment to capture nighttime paving operations on our ($5.3 million dollar) Highway 12 Corridor Improvement Project for the County of Sonoma. As you can see – working at night is challenging. Limited visibility requires “spot on” traffic control to maintain safety and the immediate/temporary resolution of construction issues to keep a project moving. So please honk the next time you see “our guys” out there . . . they are working hard!!
