In an effort to thank the hard working men and women on the University District project site in Rohnert Park, Green Valley Consulting Engineers (GVCE) and Kennedy Jenks Consultants (KJ) hosted a BBQ appreciation lunch.

To show gratitude for all parties involved, BBQ lunch was provided by caterer, A Guy and His Grill. Owner, Tim Conger provided Tri-Tip, Chicken and all the sides, which was a huge success with all attendees. To get the community involved, donations from local businesses were given out in gift bags, along with GVCE note pads and KJ tumblers. Attendees brought items to be donated to Toys for Tots, The Redwood Empire Food Bank, and The Rohnert Park Animal Shelter. Donations came in at a whopping $1000 to the animal shelter! In return for donations, a brand new Weber grill, pair of Warriors tickets, and a Kindle Fire were raffled off. All of the details made for a triumphant event!

Green Valley would like to extend its deepest gratitude to The City of Rohnert Park, Kennedy Jenks Consultants, and local contractors for continued efforts on the University District project. We’d also like to thank local businesses for sponsorships and all individuals involved in coordination of the days event.
