Juan has over 30 years of experience in heavy civil construction, which includes quality control of materials and construction methods and comes to  inspection with the unique background of running underground and paving crews for the largest civil Contractors in the North Bay. In his last role of Project Foreman of 17+ years, he was responsible for a number of significantly challenging and complex underground CIP projects where he mentored and trained team members, managed and oversaw the safety programs and retired with a proven track record of zero accidents and completing the projects within time and budget to the Agencies satisfaction – a rare feat in the industry. He has continued his career as inspector on municipal projects that include sewer trunk mains, pumping systems, water distribution projects and roadway rehabilitations. He has the experience to identify and resolve potential field conflicts before they become a problem, is known for his leadership and communication with field crews all the way to the adjacent homeowners and the client representatives, and is extremely thorough in his documentation and reports.
